ERA Coalition Statement Applauding Launch of Historic Equal Rights Amendment Congressional Caucus

“We applaud Congresswomen Bush and Pressley, true leaders in the fight for equality, for launching a historic Congressional caucus reaffirming the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment to the Constitution and centering traditionally marginalized voices who stand to gain the most from sex equality. Advocates began this fight 100 years ago, and those voices have been critical in drafting, advancing, and organizing to get the ERA added to the Constitution.
