In recent years, Karen M. Kedrowski, the Director of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, took notice of, and concern in, a gap in the public knowledge surrounding the Equal Rights Amendment, its standing in the legislative process, and its importance in advancing women’s rights today toward an equal future.

ERA Coalition Announces Third Slate of Federal Candidates with ERA Certification Stamp of Approval

The ERA Coalition announced the third slate of federal candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate who have been awarded the ERA Certification Stamp of Approval. Earlier this year, the ERA Coalition launched Elect Equality, a new campaign to provide voters with the opportunity to learn from candidates across the country about their position on the Equal Rights Amendment.

Welcome September 2022’s newest members in collaboration with the ERA Coalition

The ERA Coalition, an organization led by women of color, represents millions of people and more than 260 allied organizations whose common mission is to see the Equal Rights Amendment ratified and implemented within the United States Constitution. As we continue our fight towards the constitutional protections of those on the account of sex, many new individuals and organizations have followed suit and joined forces to become members alongside the ERA Coalition. As a show of our gratitude and continued support, we would like to take a moment to spotlight our newest members this month.
