Silent Sentinels Are Back!
Over 104 years ago, Silent Sentinels first came to Washington, D.C., to demand the vote. Now Silent Sentinels are back – to finish the job of achieving equality in America by certifying the ERA. A delegation of ERA Minnesota Silent Sentinels are in Washington, D.C. as we speak. We’ll join compatriots around the country to hold daily vigil in front of the DOJ to tell AG Garland to rescind the ERA Barr memo.

Democratic lead sponsor Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) addressed live the ERA Coalition/Fund for Women’s Equality on the status of SJ Res 1, the Senate joint resolution to remove the time limit imposed on the ERA. He was joined by Republican lead sponsor Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and bipartisan Senate cosponsors of the resolution, who shared recorded remarks; Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), and Senator Angus King (I-ME).

Big Celebrations for Women’s Equality Day!
As the Republican National Convention gets underway we want to make note of the great efforts of Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski (R), who is a committed leader in removal of the time limit on the ERA. She is lead co-sponsor on SJ Res 6 with Maryland Senator Ben Cardin (D). Senator Collins (R) of Maine has also joined.
