Those of us who believe in equality and justice can find some hope in the jury’s decision to convict the three men accused of murdering Ahmaud Arbery. Arbery was targeted and victimized solely because of his race, and the jurors recognized that fact with their verdict. 

May his family find some semblance of comfort knowing that his killers will pay the price for his murder with their freedom. For all who believe in equality and justice, this is one for our side.
