Bringing awareness & how to help: Human Trafficking Awareness Day 2023

National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is a significant day of recognition as trafficking has a long-term impact on human lives, families and households, as well as communities across the globe. Right now, there are approximately 20 to 40 million slaves in the world, with approximately 80% of human trafficking today involving sexual exploitation, and 19% involving labor exploitation. Today’s observance of the illegal practice was implemented to raise awareness in regards to human trafficking, aid individuals and groups in identifying common signs of the practice, and reach victims with resources and support.

Welcoming January 2023’s newest members in collaboration with the ERA Coalition

As we continue our fight towards the equal constitutional protections of all on account of sex, many new organizations have followed suit and joined forces to become members alongside the 280+ members of the ERA Coalition. As a show of our gratitude and continued support, we would like to take a moment to spotlight our newest members at the start of this new year!
