It was thrilling to sit in the House Judiciary Committee Hearing Room today for Chairman Nadler’s impassioned opening–and to hear so many strong and moving remarks on why we need the Equal Rights Amendment from Committee members. We are celebrating a sweet victory today: pro-ERA legislators have been swept into power in Virginia. Congratulations to them. We are eager to begin work on Virginia becoming the historic 38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.
