Bring SJ Res 1/HJ Res 17 up for a vote
The ERA Coalition has been pushing for the Senate to schedule a vote on the Equal Rights Amendment time limit removal since it first introduced its resolution at the beginning of the 117th Congress. But we’re not the only ones calling for Senator Schumer to take action and schedule SJ Res 1/HJ Res 17 for a vote – many of our partners have joined in the chorus of supporters!
Honoring Latina Equal Pay Day
DECEMBER 8, 2022 is Latina Equal Pay Day. For every $1 a white man makes in the U.S., a Latina woman (on average) makes around 54 cents. This means that to make the same amount as their white male counterparts do in one calendar year, a Latina must work another 342 days. That’s almost two full years.
